For those wishing to train to become professional Make-up Artists & Bridal Make-up Artists This course has been structured to enable you to gain as much practice as possible before undertaking each stage. Although we believe that training cant take the place of experience, we believe that correct training will cut out years of trial & error at the cost of your clients. The goal of this course is to ensure you understand the needs of your clients so that you can offer the very best service (customer services very high on the agenda)!! This understanding will come from the confidence of knowing techniques that Make-up Artists have come to learn, through years of relentless experience! You will learn about various styles and types of make-up - that you may be asked for by your clients and bring you to the point of awareness and confidence in your tools and your training.

Asian brides are totally different from English brides the make-up, styling, dress and colouring is totally different, hence the growing need for Asian Make-up artists.

The effect although, that is required is the same: To look beautiful, stunning and the best they can possibly look!!

You will have the ability to excel in both eastern and western styles.

This is the objective of this course:

To bring about an understanding of your client, their face, complexes, dress, jewellery, their wishes and desires and to translate that into confidence that they carry through their most important day.

The Bridal Make-up artist courses is conducted over 6 months minimum:

The course is completely assessment based so you will not achieve your course certification until you pass each Phase of the assessment 100%

You begin with Phase 1 Intensive basic to advanced make-up artists foundation course, covering every aspect of basic to advanced base makeup techniques.  

 

After successful assessment you begin Phase 2 Basic to Advanced Makeup Techniques including Photographic techniques.  After successful assessment you will continue onto Phase 3 covering Advanced Techniques to Completion including Theatrical.  After successful assessment you will continue shadow a professional makeup artist and complete your course after achieving your own successful bookings.  
(with additional option towards working towards the makeup artist certificate by adding a range of special fx courses and options towards advanced hairstyling courses).

This course has been specially created for people in the TV, Media & Entertainment industry.

The aim of this course is to enable Media Professionals to adopt professional Make-up artist techniqes. To enable you to do this you will be taught lighting perceptions, Camera awareness, make-up suitability, Image building, translate on-screen confidence and create awareness

It is a two day course that can be split into two 1 day courses. They are held very confidentially and can be taken on location if required.

For people either looking to build up at a steady pace or perhaps learn a special look for a special occasion. You can in a one hour session learn one complete to perfection! We have skin and cosmetics analysis available for new clients with a 15-30 minute Image Analysis given for every new client. Please remember to bring your make-up so that suitability can be checked and appropriate products recommended. 1-1 Make-up Lesson (£65) with free 15-30 minute Image analysis.

These are local classes of upto 20 people which are set up to teach overall make-up techniques and confidence to large groups of students.

They are 2 hours classes set up to go from foundation level upwards. In these classes you will be taught make-up techniques, hair styling, threading, facial products & facials, confidence building and beauty advice incorporating latest and classic looks.

No certification is given for this course unless you complete either the Make-up Artist course or the Bridal Make-up Artist course.

Please note that these practical information based classes are best those wishing to expand their knowledge and confidence in Beauty.

PROFILE 1-1 Make up courses held by Moona Baig I have seen a lot of make-up artists in my time but as I am a perfectionist I havenÆt really been impressed by any of their work, however after seeing Moona Baig work her magic at my sister-in-laws walima I wanted to learn how to apply make-up in her unique style.Before the course I was not happy with the way I applied my own make-up and wanted to know how to make the most of my looks. I also wanted to know what products to use and how to achieve different looks. The course itself was very structured and informative, In a matter of two days I learnÆt how to analyse my own face and see what suited the shape and what colours to use. I learnÆt how to apply make-up for work or evening, at home or for a party. Moona explained step by step how to apply the make-up in the most simple but effective manner, it was amazing to watch the transformations and now I am no longer scared to use blusher, mascara, false eyelashes etc. The skills and knowledge I have gained from this course is incredible and everyone has commented on how great I look now, and it has given me that extra confidence.
